There are five different levels for the washing station

A good wash will allow to have a sugar cane that is cleaner and therefore a rum that will be of better quality.

It is important to have a better quality rum because it will serve you to make longer expeditions.

You can see there the table that shows the cost of improving the washing station according to the level and the bonus it gives
